The Story
Joel Moore, better known as the Australian street artist Mulga, is a creative force to be reckoned with. From the very beginning of his artistic journey, he has been drawn to the majesty of gorillas, which would become a recurring theme in his work.
It all began in 2012, when Mulga had his first art show and launched his career as an artist. He quickly gained recognition for his unique style, characterized by intricate line work and bright colors, which brought to life a world where tropical bearded men run rampant, tigers wear diamond sunglasses, and gorillas rule the world like some kind of funky planet of the apes. But it wasn't until he painted his first ever mural that Mulga's passion for gorillas truly took hold, where else would he paint it but at the iconic Bondi Beach? From that moment on, he became obsessed with painting gorillas, creating countless gorilla-themed murals and artworks that caught the attention of major brands like Samsung, Coca Cola, Red Bull, Lego, and Adidas.
In 2014, Mulga took the bold step of leaving his finance job to become a full-time art dude, unleashing his creativity and allowing his love for gorillas to truly shine. His popularity and commercial success only continue to grow, as he embarks on his latest artistic venture 'MulgaKongz'. With this groundbreaking NFT collection, Mulga is bringing his captivating animal creations to the blockchain, inviting fans to join the gorillas and their tropical animal friends in their quest for fun and summer good vibes. Through it all, Mulga remains a true artist at heart, continually pushing the boundaries of his creativity and inspiring others to do the same.
